Teacher completes the Digital Website/Tool Request Form and explicitly states how tool supports student learning goals.

1. ILS department leads evaluates the request based on current solutions on the RCS Instructional Technology Matrix and guides teacher accordingly.
2. If there is NOT an option and the ILS believes the solution is REQUIRED, they pass the request along to the appropriate curriculum, program, or special ed consultant.

1. Consultant evaluates the request from the district perspective and determines if it is required, easy to use, aligns with curriculum and instruction, supports standardization, etc.

• Consultant can reach out to Technology for guidance and help with the process.

• If it is a larger initiative-a software request form may be required along with a budget approval. 

2. If consultant approves the request, then they submit a  IncidentIQ work order with completed paperwork.

Technology receives the IncidentIQ request and reviews terms and conditions, verify use of our data, determine FERPA/CIPA/COPPA compliance, check for malicious code and access or links to inappropriate content, confirm ability to run on our devices and environment, etc.

Technology informs the curriculum consultant who submitted the IncidentIQ of the approval or denial of the request. Consultant communicates results with the original requester.
