GoGuardian Teacher is a teacher facilitator application that helps students learn safely and stay focused while using a device. This tool enables you to create a customized browsing environment in your digital classroom. You can view your student's progress in real-time to quickly identify those who are off task or struggling and those who are ready to move on. This tool is available to all K-12 grade classroom teachers. The Go Guardian Teacher Support Hub has resources to help you get started.
K-12 classroom educators can access GoGuardian Teacher by visiting the Go Guardian website and selecting Log in with Google.

Explorer Classroom
Explorer Classroom by National Geographic is a live interactive session that connects young people with National Geographic Explorers to hear behind-the-scenes stories and interact with curing-edge scientists, researchers, and powerful storytellers from around the globe. This month’s sessions include Decoding the Past, Wild About Bats, and The Secret of Stream.
The tech tools students referenced in the podcast were from the Oakland Schools STEMco, a collection of innovative STEM items you can check out and use with your students. The items offer exposure to Robotics, Electronic Building Blocks, Interactive Media, and Advanced Manufacturing.
Promoting STEM Through Literature
In honor of March is Reading Month, I’m sharing the Promoting STEM through Literature website, which includes 20 books to get students excited about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Each book includes a lesson outline and a maker challenge to engage students in the design thinking process.

Next week we will launch Canva for Education for all staff, students, and teachers. Canva is an online graphic design tool where you can create presentations, posters, videos, digital whiteboarding, newsletters, worksheets, and more. If you already have a Canva for Education account, no worries. This new setup will not impact your designs. More information and professional development opportunities will be shared in the coming weeks.
